Owner and instructor, Kristen Litwin has a Masters of Science in Secondary Education, is New York State certified, and has spent the last fifteen years perfecting the academic content she teaches to ensure the material is being delivered most effectively. She personally teaches each and every tutoring session and course and is most skilled at adapting material to the needs of each student. She teaches the most difficult of content in a way that is easy for students of all abilities to understand. Kristen spent 5 years working for a well-known national SAT prep company and was consistently rated the highest rated instructor in her district (based on score improvements and student satisfaction). She typically sees a 200+ point  score improvement from her SAT prep students (who commit to 8-weeks of tutoring and complete the assigned work).  Kristen spent 4 years teaching at an all-male inner-city high school in the capital region where she achieved a 100% pass rate from her 130 students on the Living Environment Regents, half of those students achieved "mastery" (scoring over an 85%) despite many of those students being classified as "below grade level" in ELA and math. This was unprecedented success, and Kristen received the highest teacher evaluation rating while she taught at that school. She genuinely believes there is no such thing as students who are "bad at math" or who "can't write essays" or "can't comprehend reading passages"; there are only students who haven't been given the right tools yet.
